I'm buying this knife not for the first time. As a gift for friends. I've been using one myself for over 3 years, and I really like it. I recommend it for purchase. Once you get used to using it, you won't want to cut cheese with anything else. Yes, sometimes I cut salted lard with it if it's not too frozen.

Tried to cut hard cheese, it makes thin slices. Liked the knife. Don't know how long it will last.
