But the design is inspired by protective gear, a reminder of our duty to protect the planet. The upper of this shoe is made from high-performance yarn that contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic - repurposed plastic waste intercepted from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing pollution in our ocean.
