It seems to be a good opener, I'm trying it out. And it really does a good job with lids! I couldn't open the lid even with a towel, but this opener did it with ease, I barely even had to apply any effort.

The clamp shoulders were not bent to 90 degrees and they pop off the lid. Are they hardened?
