COLOR-SKOPAR 50mm F2.2 is a standard manual focus lens optimized for full-frame M mount sensors. The newly designed optical system has an aperture of F2.2, which keeps the overall length of the product from the mount surface to a short 30mm, even though it is a standard lens with a focal length of 50mm. The lens has seven elements in six groups, including three anomalous partial dispersion glass elements, and exhibits excellent optical performance from an open aperture of F2.2. This lens is compact and has excellent mobility, making it a versatile lens. This lens is equipped with a high-precision rangefinder linkage mechanism, and the all-metal helicoid provides a silky operating feel, as well as the real thrill of focusing using a traditional rangefinder. The shortest shooting distance has been achieved from 0.7m linked to the rangefinder (depending on the camera attached) to 0.5m thanks to the use of a helicoid that can extend further. The lens body is equipped with a focusing lever that is shaped to fit easily with your finger, allowing for quick and reliable focusing despite its compact appearance. By memorizing the relationship between the focusing lever position and the distance scale, you can set the approximate distance you want to focus on in advance without looking at the numbers engraved on the lens barrel. Two exterior finishes are available: black and silver. Comes with a compact straight type hood that is the same color as the main body and has a shape that does not block the rangefinder camera's rangefinder window. If you remove this hood, the total length from the mount becomes 30mm, further increasing portability and ease of putting it in and out of your bag. The filter diameter is φ39mm, which is a traditional and compact size. The optical design of this lens is optimized for use with digital and film cameras that are linked to a rangefinder, but it is also intended for use with mirrorless digital cameras using a mount adapter. It also supports shooting on various platforms beyond the framework of formal cameras.
