Hon mirin (alcohol) Fukumitsuya's mirin is made by adding glutinous rice and rice koji to authentic rice shochu (single-distilled shochu), and is carefully aged for a long period of time. Since it is genuine mirin, it is of course delicious to drink. All of our rice is made using the traditional method of using sticky rice grown locally in Ishikawa Prefecture and aging over time. You will feel the difference once you use it.
