2. Highly mobile super telephoto shooting that supports video shooting
A super telephoto range equivalent to 80-300mm in 35mm format is achieved with a lightweight design weighing only 190g. If you attach it to the OLYMPUS PEN series, which is equipped with in-body image stabilization, you can take handheld super telephoto shots equivalent to 300mm.
In addition, the rear focus system allows focusing with just two lens units. This enables quick and quiet autofocus, and allows you to enjoy stress-free and comfortable shooting not only for still images but also for videos.
3. Excellent drawing performance
The optical system uses a single ED (extra-low dispersion) lens to effectively eliminate chromatic aberrations that tend to occur when shooting with telephoto lenses. Multi-coating is applied to the entire lens surface to ensure clear depiction performance with high transmittance.
In addition, a circular aperture mechanism is used to produce a natural bokeh without any peculiarities.
