Water resistant to 200 feet/60 meters. Fits all DC series SeaLife cameras and other cameras with 52mm thread. SeaLife DC2000 underwater camera effective focal length 16mm/SeaLife DC1400 underwater camera effective focal length 14mm. Lenses can be easily attached and detached even underwater. The SeaLife SL050 0.5x wide-angle dome lens improves your field of view by 100% over the DC2000 underwater camera's already wide 31mm lens (camera equivalent). The dome lens allows for stunning underwater images, providing an incredible perspective of the underwater landscape. The 0.5x lens design uses high-grade optical glass components arranged in a 5-element/5-group array with an integrated dome lens port for crisp edge-to-edge sharpness. All optical elements are fully multi-coated to prevent internal glare and maximize light transmission. This lens has an effective focal length of 16mm on the DC2000 and is waterproof to 200 feet (60m). The inner air space is back-filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging. Rotatable light shade prevents unnecessary glare from external lighting and protects the dome lens from impact and abrasion. This lens fits all SeaLife DC series cameras and all other cameras with a 52mm thread mount. A 52mm DC adapter ring (SL977) is included.
