SHINKA is a three-layer cutting board made in Japan that has soft blades and is dishwasher safe.
This product was born from the question of why cutting boards remain the same, even though knives have evolved over time. Therefore, the product name is "Three-layer cutting board SHINKA (evolution)"

The blade is soft and the knife comes alive. A cutting board that makes food more delicious with smooth cutting.
Three-layer structure sandwiching heat-resistant material. Although the surface is soft, it can be washed in the dishwasher and hot water.
Many common plastic cutting boards are made using the injection method, which involves creating a mold and pouring the material into it. Because it is hard and durable, it can damage the knife depending on how you use it.
On the other hand, the three-layer cutting board SHINKA uses an extrusion molding method in which two types of melted raw materials are extruded and processed using rolls. By slowly cooling the melted material and forming it into a plate shape, we are able to create products with elasticity similar to rubber.
However, if you only create a soft cutting board with only the quality of the blades in mind, you won't be able to wash it with boiling water and you won't be able to use it in the dishwasher. That's why we "evolved" into a three-layer structure.
The upper and lower surface layers are made of a soft olefin elastomer material. The middle layer uses high-density polyethylene, a hard material.
As a result, the three-layer cutting board SHINKA is a cutting board that can be washed in boiling water, is dishwasher safe, and has a good blade feel.
Bond different types of resin together. Adhesives are sometimes used for this purpose, but the SHINKA three-layer cutting board does not use any adhesives.
This is a bonding method unique to extrusion molding, in which dissimilar materials are extruded together and fused within a mold, and the technology, raw material formulation, and material design that has been cultivated over many years is the result.
Resin is a material that is affected by outside temperature and humidity. This product is packed with the experience, data, and know-how accumulated over many years by the manufacturer, Sanyo Chemical Co., Ltd.

Please check the size carefully before purchasing (about the size of a regular large cutting board).
Depending on the manufacturer and type of dishwasher, some models may not be able to be stored, so please check the size in advance.
When disinfecting with boiling water, please use hot water below 90 degrees on a flat surface. Leaning it at an angle may cause it to warp.
Foods with strong pigments may stain the product, but in that case, please clean it regularly with bleach.
Wet the cutting board with water beforehand to prevent stains and stains from sticking to it.
