[Story] In the year 2205, an attack on the past began by historical revisionists seeking to change history. Commanded by the government of the time to protect history, the Saniwa awakened ancient swords. To fight the time-traveling army sent by the historical revisionists, these humanoid figures are known as "Touken Danshi."

June 2, 1581. Honnoji Temple, Kyoto. The evil hand of history alteration was closing in on the Honnoji Incident, in which Akechi Mitsuhide attacked Oda Nobunaga. The Time Retrograde Army's plan to save Nobunaga from the burning temple and change history was foiled by the efforts of the Touken Danshi. However, upon returning from their mission safely, they received news that Oda Nobunaga was still alive. In order to return history to its correct time, the Touken Danshi once again set out into the past to assassinate Oda Nobunaga. How did Nobunaga survive? A shadow is making suspicious movements, and the Time Retrograde Army is interfering with history one after another. Mikazuki Munechika realizes their true intentions... What is the correct history?
