I expected to receive socks of any color except black. I couldn't believe my eyes when I unpacked and saw 5 pairs of black socks. Summer is ahead. I won't be able to use them for their intended purpose anytime soon..

For a size 40, a 5 is just right for the foot, and the elastic band is wide and doesn't dig in anywhere. The socks are thin and comfortable. Thank you all.

Not at all what I expected. The elastic is very tight, not suitable for legs prone to swelling. I do not recommend.
