This model faithfully reproduces the vintage DANELECTRO short horn model, commonly known as the "DELUXE," while adding modern ease of use. The original DELUXE has become highly valued as a vintage guitar and is traded at a high price. DANELECTRO has now reproduced this coveted guitar. The three "50's Lipstick" pickups, which reproduce the sound of the lipstick pickups produced in the 1950s, and the 5-way selector provide a wide range of tones. The special body features binding on the top and back, a spruce body frame combined with a hard board, and a center block that is resistant to howling. The U3 adjustable bridge saddle and Gotoh thread windings provide stable pitch and tone. With a 25-inch scale, 21 frets, and a C-shaped maple neck, this model is easier to use than the vintage model. [About 50's Lipstick] This pickup reproduces the warm and beautiful tone of the 1950s. The magnet is the same Alnico 6 as the original. The lipstick tube is made of 80/20 zinc brass alloy, the same material as the tubes purchased from the cosmetics manufacturer Max Factor at the time.
