How to Protect Yourself from the Sun: Regularly use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher. Other ways to protect yourself from the sun include:
Wear a long-sleeved shirt and long pants, a hat, and sunglasses when outdoors during the day, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Reapply at least every two hours.
