We've been receiving requests for Japanese pattern straps for some time. When we started our Japanese pattern strap series, we searched for the right material, but we struggled to find a fabric with enough impact. One day, during a meeting at a factory, we were introduced to some deadstock Japanese pattern fabric lying dormant in their warehouse, and we were able to obtain the perfect material for both the pattern and the texture. While we can't reveal when or what this fabric was used for, it's what's known as vintage deadstock. It's an item with a slightly unusual origin, and will be discontinued once the stock runs out. With demand from inbound tourists on the rise, these Japanese pattern straps are all the rage these days! Made from a tightly woven fabric like twill or rayon, the strap ends are made of genuine black leather. The brand logo is subtly embossed on the strap end closest to the body. The strap itself (lining) is made of classic, unassuming polypropylene, and the metal parts have an antique finish that perfectly matches the look.
