Castelli Prosecco Tech Short Sleeve Base Layer

This base layer is designed to keep you dry in cool conditions, this base layer features a body-mapping structure with Prosecco hydrophilic treatment on the main fabric and a lighter PrimaLoft® fabric aligned to the body parts covered by the chest straps. The primary goal of this base layer is to wick moisture away from your skin, adding minimal insulation for those cooler days when your riding intensity is high enough and your outer layers are warm enough. The areas covered by the bib around the waist and upper back can get hot, so we used lightweight PrimaLoft® fabric to help regulate temperature. This base layer works best in contact with the skin, so both fabrics are very elastic, and the cut is slim. On very cold days, we will use it as the first layer under the second base layer Flanders Warm or under a thermal jersey. Very effectively wicks sweat away from the body.
