This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Ducati 888, the reigning World Superbike champion for three consecutive years from 1990. Its truss-structured pipe frame, a design not found on Japanese racing bikes, adds a touch of freshness. The Ducati's unique L-twin engine, with its exposed cocking belt and dry clutch recreated as separate parts, adds a touch of Spartan style. The slim form unique to the L-twin engine is also faithfully recreated. The engine and cowling are attached with screws, allowing you to enjoy building like a real mechanic. The tires are made of slick racing tires with a textured solid rubber finish. A stand is included for enhanced display appeal.
