This 3D action shooter is based on the enduringly popular anime classic "Mobile Suit Gundam." Set during the One Year War, the origin of the series, players choose between the Earth Federation Forces and the Principality of Zeon and pilot their mobile suits to complete missions. There are various missions, such as destroying enemies and escorting allied units, and completing them advances the story.
The action itself is designed to be easy for anyone to pilot a mobile suit, without requiring particularly complex controls. A key feature is the battle system, in which players team up with two wingmen to assist them and utilize three formations. Changing the formation depending on the situation, such as forcing a breakthrough or reconnaissance, creates a tense battle experience. The unique depth of team battles, such as the compatibility between the mobile suits in the team, is also a major attraction. There are over 30 mobile suits to pilot, including those featured in "The 08th MS Team" and lesser-known mobile suits. The story unfolds differently depending on whether you choose the Federation or the Principality of Zeon, providing ample opportunity for challenge.
While the story's cast is primarily original, many characters from the original manga also make an appearance. Fans will be thrilled to see how these characters intertwine with the story.
