This 3D action shooter tells the story from the perspectives of Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala, the two main characters from the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED."

The main game consists of Story Mode and Mission Mode. Story Mode recreates famous scenes from the original work with a wealth of animated cutscenes and cut-ins, allowing players to pilot mobile suits and battle enemies. Battle stages are available on land, underwater, and in space, and all characters from the original work appear, both friend and foe.

Mission Mode features characters like Miguel Aiman and Yzak Joule, allowing players to enjoy battle scenes not seen in the original work. Also featured are characters from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY, a spin-off series in comics and novels, as well as mobile suits exclusive to Mission Mode.

The animated movies inserted between Story Mode stages run for over 40 minutes, including new scenes created specifically for the game.
