What makes them special? The Mono Air Pants are the newest addition to our award-winning Mono Air insulation series, an innovation both in terms of performance and environmental friendliness. Mono Air fabric is specially designed to combat plastic waste. It releases 80% fewer microfibers compared to regular fleece and is made from recycled and recyclable materials. Mono Air pants are technical clothing with a Hardface treatment for durability and water-repellent properties. How it works? In regular fleece, the cut fibers that create the fluffy structure are open and therefore can shed from the garment during washing or use. In Mono Air, the infinitely long and high fibers are linked into small pockets between the face and back fabrics. Pockets trap warm air from your body, creating insulation, and at the same time protect the insulating fibers from falling out. The face side of the fabric is reinforced with a Hardface treatment, which prevents pilling and snags. The result is a smooth and durable fabric that will keep you warm and withstand years of heavy use. When should I use them? Mono Air Pants are lightweight insulated garments for use during 4 seasons. These lightweight, elastic, and durable pants are primarily designed for use as an outer layer, but also suitable as thermal underwear under a pair of shell pants. Knitted face fabric softens the wind, but at the same time allows air to pass through well. The Mono Air pants are designed to be versatile, suitable for both challenging adventures and for comfort after or before sports activities. Please do not throw away these clothes when they wear out. The Mono Air pants are made from recycled and recyclable fibers. Raw materials are valuable and can be reused.
