This set includes one katakuchi sake cup and one tin and gold leaf sake cup. Tin has a strong ionic effect, which is said to remove unpleasant flavors from sake and make it smoother. It also has high thermal conductivity, so if you keep the cup in the refrigerator, it will stay cool and become perfect for drinking chilled sake or shochu. It also makes a great gift. Each piece is carefully crafted by Nousaku's artisans using the traditional casting techniques that have been passed down for 400 years in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The small katakuchi holds approximately 150cc. Each guinomi cup holds approximately 60cc. This luxurious guinomi cup, finished with gold leaf, combines the traditional craftsmanship of Tomioka with the gold leaf of Kanazawa.
