What if you could live your life again?
"Hyaku Monogatari" is a bold adaptation of Tezuka Osamu's beloved "Faust" into a period drama.
The original version, faithful to the original appearance, is released in a striking B5 size!
This is a manga adaptation of Goethe's "Faust," Tezuka Osamu's little-known life work.
Starting with "Faust" (1950), which he wrote as a children's manga early in his career, he subsequently published the period drama adaptation "Hyaku Monogatari" (1971) and his final work, the full-length novel "Neo Faust" (1988, unfinished).
This time, we are publishing a new B5-sized edition of "Hyaku Monogatari," reorganized in the original format (the "original version").
The title pages of each chapter, which were cut from the previous edition, as well as the dialogue, have been reproduced exactly as they were when first published. Until now, "Hyaku Monogatari" could only be read in the magazine it was serialized in, but now you can enjoy it in its original B5 size.

In return for his soul, Usuhito and Sudama embark on a journey to fulfill three wishes: to live a satisfying life, to obtain a beautiful woman, and to become the lord of a castle and a province.
