A drag clicker is a system that makes a clicking sound when the drag slips, just like a spinning reel. It makes a drag sound to let the angler know that a fish is pulling the line, letting them know that a fish has been hooked. It also applies a certain amount of resistance to the fishing line, preventing it from being pulled out all at once when the fish tries to escape.
This requires disassembly of the baitcasting reel. Please disassemble and reassemble at your own risk. Installation instructions are not included. Please search for "Daiwa Tatula Drag Clicker" on YouTube for more information.
*To install this product, the reel must be disassembled down to the drive gear. Country of Origin: China
By attaching this product to the appropriate reel, you can hear the drag engage when the line is being pulled out during a fight with a fish. It's ideal for bass fishing, where the drag is set to a looser setting, as well as during sea bass baitcasting season, red snapper fishing, chinning, and winding. This drag clicker produces a drag sound and can be attached to the DAIWA 19TATULA TW, 20TATULA SVTW, 22TATULA TW80, 20ALPHAS AIR, and 21ALPHAS SV TW. It's particularly well-suited for baitcasting finesse, which requires a looser drag and uses thin lines. The drag sound prevents line breaks not only in bass fishing, but also in tube fishing, mountain stream trout fishing, horse mackerel fishing, and rockfish fishing, further enhancing the benefits of baitcasting finesse. This drag sound is added to Tatula reels that don't originally have a drag sound. This product is recommended for fishing where a drag sound is beneficial, such as bait shore jigging, bait finesse, chinning, horse mackerel fishing, and rockfish fishing, which have become popular in recent years.
A drag clicker is a feature found on fishing reels. It controls the resistance (drag) that occurs when the fishing line is pulled out of the reel. Drag clickers are typically used for fishing large fish or those with strong pulls. This feature applies a constant resistance to the fishing line, preventing it from being pulled out all at once when the fish tries to escape. It may also emit an audible click to alert the angler that the fish is pulling. Drag clickers allow anglers to adjust the tension on the fishing line, allowing for the appropriate drag setting for each type of fishing and situation. This allows for proper control of the load on the fishing line and fishing rod, resulting in more effective catches when battling fish. Drag clickers are an important feature of fishing reels and play a key role in the enjoyment and success of fishing.
