Each bin is handcrafted by artisans at Hashimoto Tatsunosuke Kogei, who have a long history of crafting wooden lacquerware. The bin is hand-assembled to ensure a refined wood grain pattern and clean, linear design from every angle. It also comes with a bag attachment frame for disposing of wet waste, which wooden bins are not good at. To make maintenance as easy as possible, the surface of the plywood panel is coated with a moisture-resistant coating (excluding the cut edges).
