2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PT-6136-00 is a replacement BLACK TUSQ XL nut that is ideal for guitars, whether electric or acoustic. A type with a bottom surface (adhesive surface) that does not have an angle to the fingerboard surface. The slots (string grooves) are pre-processed, so they can be used immediately with minimal processing. The BLACK TUSQ XL series forms a thin Teflon film on the contact surface through friction caused by string vibration, and this acts as a lubricant, reducing the load that tends to be concentrated in one point. This makes the strings less likely to break and makes tuning more stable. It transmits string vibrations to the body most efficiently, bringing out the instrument's original sound without loss, from popping highs to rich lows. It has many overtones and restores the wonderful sound that was lost. [Note] For some products, the end of the model number has been changed from "-00" to "-C0".
