2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This is a plastic model of Kajika "1/700 Japanese Navy Super Dreadnought Battlecruiser Kirishima 1915".Kirishima was laid down at the Mitsubishi Shipyard in Nagasaki on March 17, 1912 as the fourth Kongo-class battlecruiser.When she was new, she had a standing displacement of 27,500 tons, and with a combination of 36 Yarrow co-fired cans and 2 Parsons direct-coupled turbines and 4 shafts, she achieved a speed of 27.5 knots.This ship, which was completed in April 1915, was different from Kongo and Hiei in that the side of the main turret was composed of a curved surface without a knuckle.She underwent the first modernization renovation in 1930, and served as a summoning ship in the special large-scale exercise review ceremony held off the coast of Kobe in the same year.In 1936, she underwent a second modernization and became a high-speed battleship with a maximum speed of 30 knots, and served as a part of the task force in the Pacific War, but was sunk in the Third Battle of the Solomons on November 15, 1942.*This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.*Adhesive, tools, paint, etc. are required separately for assembly and painting.*"Plastic model" is a registered trademark owned by the Japan Plastic Model Industry Cooperative.*This product does not include adhesives, paint, tools, batteries, etc.
