This kit was designed from the ground up by renowned Enterprise expert Gary Kerr, using artwork based on the dimensions of the actual filming miniature, and worked with the Smithsonian Institution during its recent renovation. Aside from the warp engine and pylon grilles, this set also includes: three styles of speculative impulse engine grilles, revised engine crisp covers from the second pilot episode, and a drill template to correct improperly positioned saucer windows on initial releases of the model.
