Filter Media: Activated carbon, ion exchange resin. Filtration Flow Rate: 0.15 L/min (when using a BRITA pot-type water filter). Cleaning Capacity: Free residual chlorine (total filtered water volume of 150 L, removal rate of 97% or more, JIS S 3201 test results). Compatible with all BRITA pitcher, pot, and tank-type water filters (excluding the Classic). The activated carbon filter media removes chlorine and odor-causing substances. The ion exchange resin reduces water hardness and removes metals such as lead and copper. It also reduces limescale. The cartridge is made of 50% bio-based plastic material* (mass balance method, ISCC+ certified). The addition of a high-performance filter mesh improves fine particle filtration, reducing particle size to ≥ 30 μm. (Tested at APMO R&T LAB. in accordance with NSF/ANSI 42 Class V and VI.) Testing for the removal of PFOS and PFOA was conducted by a third-party organization in Japan in accordance with the "JWPAS B.210 Standards for Testing the Removal Performance of Water Purifiers" established by the Japan Water Purifier Association. The results confirmed that the product can remove over 80% of PFOS and PFOA.
