●Would you like to work with us at Petit Fours? Our protagonist, Mei Kanzaki, is a third-year high school student who loves cooking. She hopes to work at her grandfather's small French restaurant one day.

One day, her grandfather falls ill and is hospitalized, putting the restaurant in danger of closing. Her parents, who have no interest in cooking or the restaurant, try to sell the restaurant and the land, but her grandfather says he'll leave the future of the restaurant in Mei's hands.

Mei, who loved her grandfather's restaurant and its cooking, decides to use her summer vacation to embark on a plan to rebuild it. The staff who had been helping out at the restaurant out of admiration for her grandfather have quit, leaving only a casual chef and floor manager. To keep the restaurant running, she needs new staff. Mei's job begins with finding new staff.

Miki's staff are full of problem children: a talented but stubborn chef, a gossipy sommelier, an inflexible manager, a classmate whose only redeeming quality is her energy, and a light-hearted and cheerful senior. Can Miki somehow convince them to join her and restore her grandfather's restaurant's reputation before summer vacation ends? And what about Miki's relationship with the boys who frequent the restaurant?
