Shinobu Matsumura's masterpiece, reborn as a plastic model kit.
Originally released as a garage kit during the broadcast of the TV anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion," the Evangelion Unit-01 by sculptor Shinobu Matsumura has finally been made into a plastic model.
While respecting the original design, it boldly incorporates biological elements, and features a streamlined Angel base without sacrificing muscle expression or detail, making this a masterpiece packed with various elements.
For the kit, the original model was converted into 3D data, resized to approximately 230mm in height, and refined by Shinobu Matsumura himself.
Newly sculpted parts include exposed pectoral muscles and a hand holding a progressive knife.
