The M4 Medium Tank was a 30-ton medium tank developed and manufactured in the United States during World War II, boasting high mobility and firepower.
The M4A3E8 was the final model of the M4 series used by the US military, appearing during the latter stages of the Battle of the Bulge. 2,539 units were produced between August 1944 and September 1945.
After the war, it was also provided to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and other pro-American countries, including NATO nations.
