The more stretchy material and flat seams improve the fit and prevent water from entering, making them ideal as inner cuffs for rainwear that doesn't have neoprene cuffs.

Attach them to the cuffs of your innerwear and close the Velcro tab on your rainwear to prevent water from entering (wearing them over rainwear will reduce effectiveness).
