Country of Origin: Japan Hasami ware is a type of ceramic ware fired in Hasami Town, Higashisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Like the Arita ware porcelain of neighboring Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, it has a tradition spanning over 400 years.

Rizaemon Kiln currently produces earthenware and pottery. While many companies outsource production and division of labor, they also produce the clay in-house. Their extensive technical expertise in the clay, texture, glaze, and craftsmanship is reflected in their vessels in a minimalist way.
