This is a safe and secure set of clean ash and ash leveler made only from domestically produced diatomaceous earth. The ash is made from diatomaceous earth of just the right particle size (not too small, not too large) and is fired at high temperatures to achieve both fluffy and solid texture. The ash is less likely to scatter or harden, making maintenance minimal. The ash has excellent heat retention and leaves almost no residue. Incense sticks can be inserted easily and stand upright. Even when burning incense sticks lying down, they will burn to the end. Also suitable for incense burning. (Incense sticks will usually burn to the end, but if inserted all the way to the bottom in a deep incense burner, some residue may remain.)
