The Incognito series pens were created with the goal of producing high-quality, weight-balanced luxury pens with a comfortable grip. The weight distribution of the pen body is designed to minimize friction on the nib. Each series is produced in 500 pieces, and each pen is numbered by stamp. Each pen is manufactured with .999 platinum-plated fittings, and the body is made of brass with diamond-cut engraving. The fountain pen features a screw-on cap and is made in Germany, including the refill. The pen's color finish utilizes a multi-layer, high-gloss lacquer technique. After each layer of lacquer is applied, the pen barrel is heat-dried and then hand-polished. Finally, multiple layers of a transparent, translucent coating are applied to the body. The end result of these processes is a finish with numerous depths and hues that change slightly depending on the lighting. All paints and lacquers in this series are made in Japan. Each pen uses German-made parts. Quality inspection and additional assembly are carried out in the United States.
