MCG Ferrari Diecast Car 1/18 Scale Ferrari Dino 246 GT 1969 (Red)
Product Information
The "Dino" is a somewhat unusual car: it's both a Ferrari and not a Ferrari. In fact, even when you look at the actual car, you won't find the famous horse emblem. While the exact reason is unclear, the name "Dino" is known to be the nickname of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari's late son. His son, Alfredo, was expected to be Ferrari's successor and joined Ferrari as an engineer, but he passed away at the young age of 24 due to illness. The following year, in 1967, the Dino was introduced as Ferrari's first mid-engine mass-produced car. The 246GT, modeled from 1969 onward, was an evolution of the original 206, featuring a larger V6 engine and a longer wheelbase. Despite this, the design remained largely unchanged, and it was a huge commercial success, enjoying enduring popularity to this day.
