ND3 to ND1000 Adjustment Range: The adjustment range is approximately 1.5 to 10 stops, providing the effect of nine ND filters: ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64, ND128, ND256, ND500, ND1000, and CPL (only in magnetic mode). It's suitable for a variety of scenes, from video and landscape photography where you want to keep the shutter speed low to portraits where you want to open the aperture. Two attachment/detachment methods: Screw it directly onto the lens without an adapter ring to function as a variable ND3-1000 filter in screw-in mode, or attach the included magnetic lens adapter [ELA] to the lens to function as a variable ND + CPL in magnetic mode, allowing you to instantly attach, detach, and swap. [Operation] Magnetic mode: Turn the center knob to adjust the reflected light from the PL filter, and turn the tip frame to adjust the ND density. Screw-in mode: Turn the tip frame to adjust the ND density. *Due to the optical characteristics of variable ND filters, unevenness may occur when using a high density filter at a wide angle. Also, since the adjustment knob is fixed, it cannot be used in conjunction with a bayonet-type lens hood. [Excellent Maintenance and Compatibility] The Nano coating provides water-repellent, dirt-resistant, anti-static, and scratch-resistant properties, allowing for easy maintenance and long-lasting filter use. It is compatible with the existing H&Y magnetic system, allowing for interchangeable and stackable filters and lens caps (LC). While it can be attached to the adapter ring and step ring (MA), we recommend using the specially designed (ELA) adapter ring for smoother rotation. The H&Y HD Evo-series ND3-1000+CPL Filter Kit (filter + magnetic adapter ring set) combines a variable ND (1.5 to 10 stops of light reduction) with a CPL, allowing for two attachment methods: magnetic mode (magnetic attachment) or screw mode (traditional screw-in). When screwed directly onto a lens without an adapter ring, it functions as an ND3-1000 variable ND filter in screw-in mode. When the included magnetic lens adapter [ELA] is attached to a lens, it can be instantly attached, detached, and swapped in magnetic mode, functioning as a variable ND + CPL. Because the adjustment knob is fixed, it cannot be used with a bayonet-type lens hood.
