Introduction
The 4th album of the all-girl band leader, SCANDAL!
Even before their debut, they dominated the indie charts and actively performed overseas. Their June 2009 single "Shojo S" debuted at No. 6 on the Oricon charts, and at the end of the year, they won the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist, establishing themselves as a representative figure of the new generation of all-girl bands. Since their debut album, they've charted in the Oricon Top 5 for three consecutive albums. In March 2012, they released a greatest hits album and successfully performed their first live concert at the Nippon Budokan. They've continued this momentum with the release of their 4th album. Lead single "Taiyou Scandalous" was produced by ORANGE RANGE's NAOTO, and "Pin Heel Surfer" was produced by TRICERATOPS' Sho Wada, showcasing a new dimension of SCANDAL's music! The title, "Queen is the Trump Card," powerfully conveys the all-girl band message. The album features 12 tracks, brimming with SCANDAL's charm, gracefully incorporating a rock and pop sound. A girl pop album that embodies the modern era!
