Fine Molds 1/35 Military Series Imperial Japanese Army Type 1 Medium Tank Chi-He Plastic Model MR04
The Type 1 Medium Tank Chi-He was developed as the Imperial Japanese Army's main battle tank, succeeding the Type 97 Medium Tank Chi-Ha.
Based on the Type 97 Medium Tank, the hull assembly was changed from riveted construction to a more welded construction, and armor thickness was increased from a maximum of 25mm to 50mm.
The engine was also upgraded from 170hp to 240hp, and it was equipped with a Type 1 47mm tank gun.
The tracks are made of plastic and are assembled using adhesive for realistic sag.
The main gun breech is also reproduced.
Markings are based on seven types of vehicles deployed domestically.
