Based on soft chrome-tanned goat leather, the surface is rubbed, dyed, and then meticulously applied with a special wax. This creates a beautiful luster, and the wax creates a rich, contrasting hue for a rich, deep color. Finally, the entire piece is kneaded using a method called "kura-hami" (a process in which the folded parts turn white due to the wax), creating a "pull-up" effect and an antique look. By utilizing the unique grain of goat leather, small scratches are less noticeable and the color hardly changes over time. [Aftercare] Generally, a dry wipe will keep the product in good condition. If scratches occur, applying leather cream and gently massaging the leather will make them less noticeable. [Caution] Please do not store in a hot or humid place. If the leather surface is stored overlapping other leathers or enamel materials, dye transfer may occur. Please be careful. This leather has been processed to retain its natural goat leather texture, even with wrinkles, scratches, and subtle color variations.
