A new version of Libertalia has arrived, featuring numerous changes.
Become a sky pirate and set sail in search of adventure, treasure, and glory.
The original 2012 version of Libertalia has been updated with numerous changes.
In this psychological game, you take on the role of the admiral of a sky pirate fleet, discovering new islands, gaining treasure, and recruiting allies. It's an intense game of card-reading.
Players lead a diverse crew and compete against rivals to leave their mark in history as the greatest sky pirate.
Everyone starts the game with the same set of cards.
In each round, players select one card from their hand and play it simultaneously. The card's effect is applied once for each card with the lowest number on it, and once for each card with the highest number on it.
Since players have the same cards, the psychological battle of predicting when to use each card and their opponent's moves becomes even more intense the more you get to know the game.
In this new version, the number of character cards has been increased from 30 in the original version to 40, and all illustrations have been replaced.
In addition, a "Fame" system has been added to make it easier to determine whether a tie will occur,
"Cadet Tiles" have been introduced to provide additional options in two-player games,
and rules for single-player games using a virtual player have also been added, expanding the scope of play.
