<Story> One day, a 34-year-old, unemployed, shut-in man is kicked out of his house by his family and is involved in a traffic accident. Just when he thinks he's about to die, he is reincarnated as Rudeus in another world of swords and magic. Fueled by the experiences and regrets of his previous life, he vows to live life to the fullest this time. As he grows through encounters with various people and training in magical arts, Rudeus embarks on an epic and arduous adventure, triggered by a teleportation incident in his hometown of Fittoa Territory. After a difficult journey back to his hometown, Rudeus is devastated when his beloved Eris suddenly disappears the morning after they unite. He retreated into seclusion like in his previous life and was about to give up on everything, but he set out again, determined to find his mother, Zenith, the only family member still missing after the teleportation incident.
