When Sanriku Iron Abalone is placed in water and brought to a boil, the iron dissolves. Using the resulting water in cooking is an easy way to add iron to your diet. Iron and zinc intake are also said to improve hair quality. Women, in particular, are known to lose a lot of iron daily, which can lead to poor blood circulation and dizziness. Why not eliminate iron deficiency anemia and achieve rosy cheeks with improved circulation through effective iron supplementation? Easily incorporate iron into your family's daily meals to achieve bright, beautiful skin. ● Recommended as a heatstroke prevention item: Iron is said to be one of the components lost through sweat, so in addition to replenishing fluids and salt, iron supplementation is also important to prevent heatstroke. Miso soup made with water boiled with Sanriku Iron Abalone is the perfect dish for preventing heatstroke, as it simultaneously replenishes salt and iron. ● The abalone's shape and four holes in the shell increase iron dissolution! The iron eluted from Sanriku Iron Abalone is easier to absorb than iron ingested from food, making it an ideal iron supplement for those prone to iron deficiency. The unique depressions and holes in the Sanriku Iron Abalone's shell promote convection of hot water, allowing more iron to be dissolved. Compared to Sanriku Iron Abalone without holes, the larger surface area allows iron to more easily leach out of the holes, resulting in a 20-30% increase in iron elution. ● Manufactured by Otomi, a long-established Nanbu ironware manufacturer. ✅ [Sanriku Iron Abalone] ● Simply add Sanriku Iron Abalone to water and boil to easily replenish your iron. The dissolved iron dissolves in hot water or tea, creating a rich, sweet flavor that's delicious to eat. ● Effectively removes chlorine and odors from tap water, dramatically improving the flavor of stews and soups. ● Can also be used to color black beans and pickles (such as eggplant), and to remove sand from clams and mussels. It adds flavor and color to your cooking. ✅ [How to Use/Precautions] ● The amount of eluted iron will vary depending on how long you boil the water, but if you continue to boil it for too long, it may turn brown and develop a metallic smell, so as a guideline, remove it after 3 to 5 minutes. ● Any container will do, but do not use pots (with glass interiors) as they may break. ● The standard guideline is to use one Sanriku Iron Abalone per 1 liter of water. ● As coffee and tea extracts will develop a bitter tannin taste over time, we recommend using them as they are extracted, rather than storing them. ● If you remove it while the water is still boiling, you can dry it naturally using the preheat. If rust appears, wash it thoroughly with a scrubbing brush, remove the water, and dry it. ● When removing the Sanriku Iron Abalone, use a spatula. It will be very hot during boiling and immediately after removal, so please handle with care to avoid burns. ✅ [About Rust] Rust will appear after the first use, as shown in the image. To remove the rust, lightly scrub with a scrubbing brush, then wipe off the water with a cloth and let it dry. The rust that appears at this stage is not harmful to your health if ingested. After about five uses, the product will turn black, as shown at the bottom of the image. Once this happens, rust will no longer appear.
