Synopsis It's a sunny midsummer in New York City. A mysterious man brings an antique heirloom passed down through generations to a street corner occult appraisal shop. The Spengler family, professional ghost-hunting "Ghostbusters," work with the Ghost Research Institute's investigation team to discover that the artifact contains Galakka, the most powerful ghost in history, capable of freezing anything in an instant. However, thanks to the machinations of his ghost minions, Galacca has been freed from his seal...!!

Galacca attacks all of New York with the power of ice. Even on beaches where people are enjoying swimming, a large number of giant icicles suddenly appear! The force of the icicles continues unabated, ignoring the screams of people fleeing, and New York City is transformed into a world of ice reminiscent of the Ice Age.

But what is Galacca's true purpose? And who exactly is this mysterious man? Can the Ghostbusters reclaim the summer stolen from them by the ghosts and save New York—and the world?
