About the actual Type 4 medium tank prototype

World War II began, and how tanks were used in Germany's Blitzkrieg and the Soviet War changed drastically from direct infantry cooperation up until then. That information also had an impact on the Army's tank development, and the tank that began development as a “new medium tank (a)” in the Showa 17 plan was later a Type 4 medium tank [chito]. The prototype car No. 1, which was initially equipped with a 57mm gun, was completed in 19/5, but as the battle situation intensified and it was instructed to replace it with a 75mm gun as a plan to further strengthen attack power, the refurbishment was finally completed in 20/2. Two prototype cars were tested until the end of the war.
