While previous ready-to-run sets used the third-generation MR-03 chassis for the rear-2WD Mini-Z Racer, this renewal uses the fourth-generation MR-04 chassis, which debuted in 2023, as its base. While inheriting the basic design of the MR-03, the MR-04 has achieved significant improvements through a lower center of gravity and redesigned steering. It debuted in the top-of-the-line Mini-Z EVO2 model, showcasing overwhelming speed and excellent handling. The MR-04 chassis is equipped with an R/C unit for the Ready Set and combined with a pre-assembled body of comparable quality to a display model. Even with the Ready Set conversion, the materials of the chassis remain unchanged, maintaining the same high-end quality. The motor is an easy-to-handle 130-class brushed motor, and the transmitter is the popular Syncro KT-531P, a steering wheel and gun-grip type popular in R/C cars, offering exceptional reliability. Simply install four AAA alkaline batteries in the chassis and transmitter, and it's ready to run. Not only can you enjoy driving it in its standard configuration, but with the wide range of Mini-Z option parts available, you can create a machine capable of competing in top-class races. The Mini-Z RWD, enjoyable for driving, tuning, and even display, invites owners to a higher level of authentic R/C car experience with this MR-04 chassis renewal.
