High-Power Mono Power Amplifier This mono power amplifier is based on the FX-1001J and features a low-pass filter. Equipped with a Texas Instruments TPA3116 digital power amplifier IC, it delivers a maximum 100W of high-power output when driven in Parallel BTL mono mode. In addition to being used as a standard mono power amplifier, two units can be connected to the left and right channels of a stereo source for a dual mono (mono block) configuration with excellent channel separation. Even if one side of a large-diameter woofer-equipped speaker is broken, simply connect this amplifier to quickly transform it into a powered subwoofer with adjustable cutoff frequency!

[About Phase Reversal Mode] When using the FX-W1001J as a subwoofer, if the bass frequencies output from the main speakers interfere with or cancel each other out due to the placement of the subwoofer and the main speakers, resulting in a perceived lack of bass, this function reverses the phase to resolve this issue.

[Product Features] ■Maximum 100W Output Mono Power Amplifier This mono power amplifier achieves a maximum driving power of 100W by operating the TPA3116 digital power amplifier IC in Parallel BTL mode. When building a stereo system with two FX-W1001J units, connecting one unit each to the left and right channels suppresses mutual interference (crosstalk) between channels, contributing to improved separation.

■Low-Pass Filter Function The low-pass filter function can be turned on/off using the filter mode selector switch. The cutoff frequency is adjustable from 20-200Hz, and it also features a phase inversion function, providing all the essential features of a mono power amplifier for passive subwoofers.

■ Stereo-to-Mono Conversion Equipped with a function (MIX mode) that combines stereo input signals and converts them to a mono signal. The signal input from the RCA input terminals (R/L) is internally combined and amplified, enabling mono output to a single speaker. It can be used not only for subwoofers but also as an amplifier for a center speaker.

■ Attention to Internal Components Low-impedance power supply capacitors made by Japanese manufacturers are used as power supply decoupling capacitors, and multiple capacitors are installed in series to effectively reduce power supply ripple noise. In addition, polyester film capacitors, renowned for their excellent sound quality, are used for the coupling capacitors and output filter capacitors, which have a significant impact on sound quality. The output filter inductor is a custom-made toroidal inductor capable of handling high currents, and is further fixed in resin to achieve high sound quality. We paid careful attention to the selection of components that affect sound quality, including the use of MELF-type resistors for key resistor components, which are advantageous in terms of sound quality.
