• [Sound design based on acoustic engineering, psychoacoustics, and spatial acoustics] This is a new "standard" earphone born from research into the differences between sound sources produced using 2-channel stereo and sound sources produced using binaural technology. It was widely known that listening to binaurally produced sound sources such as games and VR with conventional earphones and headphones resulted in a unique sense of discomfort in the high-frequency range. While researchers involved in acoustics had grasped the cause of this, there had not yet been a sufficiently successful example of a solution. This time, by taking a new approach to address this problem, we have been able to create earphones that allow you to feel the timbre, spatial image, and sense of direction as intended by the creator when listening to binaurally produced sound sources such as games and VR. In the VR3000, as a result of further research, even higher accuracy reproduction is possible.
• [Equipped with a completely new driver unit "f-Core DU"] The material of the driver front housing is brass, which is less affected by magnetic fields than general aluminum and has a higher specific gravity. To enhance the diaphragm's time response performance, the voice coil uses ultra-fine 30μ CCAW material, and the movable parts are thoroughly lightweighted by assembling them with minimal adhesive. Furthermore, the diaphragm is carefully pressed in small batches, about one-third the usual size, minimizing pressure unevenness and achieving a uniform diaphragm without distortion.
• [Customized Fit] The comfort of earphones is determined by the amount of pressure they feel. While methods that rely on the resilience of silicone, such as those that claim ergonomics and choose organic shapes, may seem correct at first glance, they constantly apply pressure to the ear, unknowingly putting strain on the ear and accumulating fatigue. Compared to organic shapes that make contact with the ear over a large surface area, we aimed for a pressure-free fit by limiting the contact area. The housing is held in place at three points for a stable fit.
• [Ear Hooks (with Locking Mechanism) to Eliminate Cable Touch Noise] The ear hooks are useful in reducing touch noise, and when worn, they dramatically reduce the unpleasant rustling sound (cable touch noise) caused by the cable touching the body while walking. Our ear hooks are slimmer than typical ear hooks, and unlike cables containing wires or resin, they feel less bulky and offer a level of comfort you'll forget you're wearing them. They feature a locking mechanism (Type B) for secure attachment to the cable.
• [Different Shaft Colors for Easy Left/Right Identification] Two types of silicone materials with different hardness levels are used for the sound conduit and the part that touches the ear. The sound conduit uses a harder silicone material with grooves to achieve both strength and flexibility. The part that touches the ear uses softer silicone for a comfortable fit and high sound isolation. By using gray for one shaft and red for the other, you can easily distinguish between left and right even in dimly lit places by slightly lifting the ear tip to check the shaft color. Furthermore, the shaft colors of adjacent sizes are different (gray shafts alternate between dark and light gray, red shafts alternate between red and pink), making size identification easier. Five sizes (SS/S/M/L/LL) are included. You can choose according to your preference.
Many earphones marketed for gaming, ASMR, and 3D sound prioritize creating a surprising sound at first listen, exaggerating bass and treble. However, sound used with visuals is intended to immerse you in the world of the game or other content, not to surprise you with sound. We believe that accurately reproducing the intentions and aims of the creators embedded in the sound source is crucial for immersion in games and other content. The VR3000 earphones were developed based on this philosophy. Furthermore, the VR3000 Recable for Gaming has evolved to support detachable cables. In case of malfunction, only the cable needs to be replaced, and it's also possible to upgrade to other types of cables. The 2-pin connector is a high-precision, in-house developed product, adopting the most versatile φ0.78 standard. The soft and flexible sheathing material is designed to minimize touch noise, and it bends flexibly even when using ear hooks, ensuring a comfortable fit.
