Instruction:
1, Use hole puncher to punch holes on paper tape to write music. Then inset the tape end with into the music box movement.
2, Rotate the crank clockwise and you will hr the music a few seconds later.
3, When music is over, keep on rotating crank till paper tape comes out.
Writing Music On Paper Tape:
Tape ranges 50 or 100 half . Horizontal tap is , longitudinal tap is half , two lines is a .
The movement rd notes through rotation of 15-pin shaft and make sound by moving soundboard. Within a of shaft rotation, if a sound of a pitch apprs more than once (such as 11, two sounds are very close to ch other, and on paper tape, 2 holes of C sound are punched on adjacent line and dotted line), the later sound will be ignored after first sound is rd(adjacent 1/4 sound of the same pitch will also be ignored). Therefor, in some cheerful melody and chords, such as 15351535, the 5 repts too much and the music might come out as 15 3. You can try to recompose chord and melody. If there is no better recomposition, you should consider if to write it on tape. It allows 1/4 , and just punch hole in between line and dotted line.
In a nutshell, the minimum note interval that movement can identify is half of the interval between line and dotted line. 15-note movement range is n , so consider first whether it is possible to write your favorite music on tape. An appropriate recomposition is ok if necessary.
Note:
1. Fixed with 2 or 3 screws that are commNaOnly used for toys or gifts with screw holes
2. Use a proper glue to fix.
3. Volume is small, it need to be fixed in an appropriate box or case to amplify the volume.
