How to use/set a mechanical pocket watch?
Upon receiving a mechanical watch:
A. Setting the time
Pull the crown away from the base of the watch and turn it clockwise until you reach the correct time.
B. Winding the watch
Push the crown back into its original position and wind it 20-30 times clockwise. This will fully power it (overwinding will eventually break the mainspring). Do this once a day (before going to bed). Otherwise, the watch will stop. If the crown feels stiff, please stop winding the watch.
