This model recreates the train's configuration from the March 1975 timetable revision onwards, primarily consisting of passenger cars. The Wasafu 8000, which is the last car of the southbound train, is equipped with a taillight on the conductor's compartment side (with an on/off switch). The Suhafu 42 (cars 9 and 11), which are at the Aomori end of the train, are equipped with a taillight on the conductor's compartment side as standard (with an on/off switch). The car number, train type, and destination signs on the side are pre-printed (Express "Hakkoda" bound for Aomori). Destination stickers (for Ueno and Sendai) are included.
