While covering everything from a wide angle of 24 mm to the equivalent of a medium telephoto (*), a retractable mechanism has been adopted to make the total length lighter and thinner at 29.9 mm. This is an approximately 3x zoom lens for E-mount use with excellent portability. An electric zoom is used, and high-speed zooming is possible by using an operation ring. Also, by using the zoom lever, smooth zooming with constant velocity is possible, so it is possible to shoot images with reduced camera shake even when shooting videos. It also has a built-in optical image stabilization function.
